Calli Probst, CFTP, is a certified family trauma professional offering the best in client-centered care at Thrive Counseling Services, LLC. She specializes in supporting clients with a history of trauma and abuse, working with patients who have a history of sexual abuse, maladaptive sexual behaviors, addiction, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and many other problems and challenges.
Calli earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. She then earned her master’s degree in clinical social work at Arizona State University in Tempe.
Calli employs traditional approaches like solution-focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy and also incorporates body-based and alternative therapies like mindfulness, yoga, art therapy, and play therapy. Through these and other approaches, Calli helps her patients to align body and mind for optimal healing and happiness.
As the adoptive mom of children with trauma and attachment challenges, Calli understands the important role of parents and caregivers in healing. She encourages and supports parent and caregiver participation, and keeps them up-to-date during every step of their child’s treatment.
