I’m Heather Vance, MA, LPC, and I bring 20 years of experience to my work as a counselor and art therapist at Thrive Counseling Services, LLC. In the Gilbert, Arizona, office, I help individuals, families, and couples navigate conflicts, losses, painful life events, and times of transition.
I earned my undergraduate and master’s degrees in art therapy at the University of Illinois (UIC) in Chicago, Illinois. I went on to earn my clinical psychology master’s degree at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Phoenix.
With so many people now living in a state of uncertainty and disconnection, I focus on helping people who struggle to enact positive change in their lives. Together, I help patients explore their past journey to better understand problematic behaviors and patterns. I strive to create a warm and inviting space where patients can explore changes that lead to a happier life.
I use an eclectic approach to change, always working hand-in-hand with clients to find the strategies and techniques that best benefit their goals. I’m skilled in working with patients of all ages and always keep an enhanced quality of life for my patients as a central treatment goal.
I currently see patients in the Gilbert office of Thrive Counseling Services, LLC, and I also see patients through telehealth. You can make an appointment with me by calling the office or booking via online scheduling now.
